Mikael Ericson just launched disputeresolution.se

Our partner Mikael Ericson just launched disputeresolution.se – a practical, English-language guide to Swedish civil litigation and arbitration for international parties and their counsel.

It covers the full arc of a dispute – from pre-litigation through enforcement.

But the really unique part of the site is how it was made.

Mikael is a disputes lawyer with no background in web design or coding. Yet he built it, using AI throughout, not as a shortcut, but as a working partner.

For the legal content, he uploaded the same textbooks and sources he uses in his own practice into two separate AIs. That created a shared reference point. From there, it became something like a three-way conversation: two AIs and a lawyer, each pushing back on the others’ work.

What this process illustrates is something many lawyers will have to reckon with: AI is a brilliant junior associate. Exceptionally fast and remarkably well-read. But it needs direction. It needs someone who knows what good actually looks like – what a Swedish court really does, how arbitrators actually reason, what international clients genuinely need to understand.

Feedback welcome – from humans and AI alike.
